Trip Overview

The Annapurna Base Camp trek is the popular short-distance trekking destinations around  the world. About 70% of total trekkers visit Annapurna Base Camp every year. It is in the  Annapurna region. This trek leads the trekker to the lap of the world’s 10th highest  mountain, Annapurna, which is 8091m high. This trek passes through the Machhapuchhre  Base Camp, which means you can take the experience of both camps. There are two to  three routes to start the trek.

All the routes meet at Chamjong, and the routes lead the base  camp. This trek is also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary trek. Annapurna Massifs,  Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, Pisang peak, and Paungda dada are the  mountains viewed from here. Sunrise and sunsets add glitters to the mountain, which  makes them even beautiful. The trail passes through rhododendron forests, rice paddies,  and high altitude landscapes. Sights of wild animals let us explore more. The villages here  are full of Gurung, Magars, and Thakali. Their culture and tradition make unique bonding  with the trekkers. Trekkers experience subtropical and alpine climates here. Spring and  Autumn is the best season for this trek.

Most memorable trip with an amazing guide

Hiramani took my friend and I on one of the most amazing trek up to Annapurna base camp, and this was certainly one of my best memories on my gap year! Hiramani was so friendly and made us feel so comfortable the whole time, choosing the best places to stay and never rushing us. When my friend got sick, Hiramani knew exactly how to handle the situation and this meant that we could still continue and finish the trek. I can't wait to be able to go back to Nepal and do other treks with him.
